We are kicking off a business wide program for coming 3 years that will deliver the next generation of Enterprise digital capabilities for Quality Management with the next generation of Testing & Conformance, Inbound Traceability Outbound Traceability, and for Product and Pack Lifecycle Management with the next generation of Core PLM system(s) landscape. Those Enterprise capabilities will be deployed in all segment units through segment digital transformation programs. We need to have the right capabilities, and skill sets within Corporate R&D Digital Capabilities team to drive a global, cross-segment R&D digitalization program to the next level for efficiency, speed and futureproofing of our business.

The role of the Corporate R&D Digital Core PLM Product Analyst is critical to support the product owners to enable this program by delivering a system driven solution to the data and processes required from a specification management perspective; providing the process & systems support to design, develop, and enable deployment of the next generation of Enterprise digital capabilities. This is a mission critical role in enabling Mars to enable the future of Product Lifecycle Management, through the program of Digital Core – Core PLM, which is a global cross segments program.

This role is transformation funded and has an expected length of around 3 years.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent in food safety/food science or related subject area is desirable.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Being able to work independent and take initiative – strong ability to work in a virtual/remote environment across multiple time zones and cultures

What will be your key responsibilities?

It is the role of the Corporate R&D Digital Core PLM Product Analyst to support the R&D transformation product owners to optimize the work of the team working on the products and to ensure any development will comply with processes related to Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Support the vision and long-term strategy, driven by the product owner, ensuring it meets the global cross segments R&D digitalization strategy
  • Is ambassador of core corporate capabilities and drives alignment on the core with Segment/Division representatives
  • Get external perspective of what is coming ahead in the PLM space, with which can benefit R&D processes & PLM capabilities for compliance, efficiency, speed and future proofing (impact on live systems and analytics, opportunities to use chosen future PLM capabilities for other live processes or future request in the pipeline)
  • Support systems product vision into goals/capabilities/roadmap and manages required investment
  • Support documentation for changes to align systems with Global Standards, Procedures and Processes and enhance data quality Aid in the delivery proper communications of changes of products at key milestones

It is the role of the Corporate R&D Digital Core PLM Product Analyst to maximize the accelerated deployment of those new digital products into the segments. This role supports the training & guidance on how to deploy those digital tools:

  • Participate in the community of practice
  • Support creation of training materials
  • Aid in the E2E testing, the knowledge transfer, the communication to achieve a successful end user adoption of the change without business interruption
  • Support Product owner with new capability deployment and follow their completion for a successful hand over to the Functional Experts.
  • Assist in providing effective training to Functional Experts using standardized materials, to become technically competent and to deploy the system in a standardize way.
