Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Global Onboarding Product Manager to lead demand intake, prioritize initiatives, and manage the onboarding product roadmap within an Agile environment. This role requires strong collaboration with leadership teams, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive onboarding journeys that balance business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility. The ideal candidate will be adept at Agile product management, stakeholder communication, and product lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Intake & Prioritization
- Triage and prioritize incoming demand from listening strategies and ad-hoc requests in collaboration with onboarding leadership.
- Balance business priorities, user needs, and technical feasibility while keeping stakeholders informed of decisions and outcomes.
- Lead demand intake and Program Increment (PI) planning sessions; manage and maintain the backlog.
- Collaborate with Onboarding and My Hub Analytics leads to leverage insights for ROI-driven demand prioritization.
- Lead listening strategy efforts, analyse key themes, and integrate findings into demand intake and PI planning.
Agile Product Management
- Develop and maintain Agile project plans for all onboarding roadmap initiatives.
- Align stakeholder roadmap, ensuring business alignment, capacity, and readiness.
- Manage product delivery, coordinating with Change Managers to embed change activities and user communication.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies; write and accept user stories with clear technical details and acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in My Hub global product delivery efforts, supporting cadences, enhancement delivery, reporting, and testing.
- Provide regular status updates to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Maintain My Hub onboarding journey KPIs.
- Ensure deliverables provide customer value, maintain platform health, and meet business objectives.
Product Roadmap Management
- Own and manage the onboarding product roadmap using the SPM tool; integrate with My Hub portfolio and operating model, including quarterly planning efforts.
- Oversee product performance, operations, and release coordination, balancing dependencies and resource capacity.
- Maintain transparency and prioritization of feature backlog and roadmap; communicate clearly with development teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Global Onboarding and My Hub scrum masters product owners, designers, and developers to enable fast, informed product decisions.
Additional Activities
- Act as the liaison between Global Onboarding and My Hub teams, communicating process and data changes impacting onboarding.
- Champion Agile methodologies, demand management, and governance processes (ARB, DAB).
- Support upskilling of the Global Onboarding team in Agile practices and communicate these methodologies to segment leads and stakeholders.
- Engage with broader My Hub Product Manager functions and Product Owner communities, including participation in forums like the Community of Practice (CoP).
- Track and follow up on actions from key stakeholder meetings such as Board meetings, Segment Lead Connects, and GTALT.
- Maintain understanding of onboarding specific Voice of Associate.
Key Skills and Experience
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Product Management, preferably in onboarding or customer experience domains.
- Strong expertise in Agile product management methodologies, including UX research, backlog management, PI planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
- Proficiency in using SPM tools or similar portfolio management software.
- Ability to write clear, detailed user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams including analytics, research, design, development, and change management.
- Strong analytical skills to leverage data insights for demand prioritization and ROI evaluation.
- Familiarity with change management processes and embedding change activities into project plans.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on deadlines, demonstrating consistent and iterative progress.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of My Hub or similar enterprise platforms.
- Background in customer onboarding, digital transformation, or SaaS product management.
- Experience with governance frameworks such as ARB (Architecture Review Board) and DAB (Demand Approval Board).
- Familiarity with Community of Practice (CoP) engagement and Agile upskilling initiatives.
