Product Development Manager

Job Description

Purpose of the role

The Product Development Manager is responsible for establishment of data architecture and modelling for identified initiatives and opportunities of product digitalization and innovation as given strategy, on top of being responsible for organization and coordination of different stakeholders as required to drive and manage project deliverables as expected.

Job content & execution

Responsible for

• Engage with multiple stakeholders (CX, CPM, BPO, FPO, PPO…etc) to organize resource and build timeline to drive the project setup for the identified opportunities of product digitalization and innovation

• Manage the full cycle of product development project from project set-up to final deliverables including resource, schedule, communication, technical solution…etc.

• Establish the business case for specific opportunities to describe as-is business scenarios, to-be business scenarios, expected benefits and investment in details with solid data analytics and proof

• Lead the review process of product development project to obtain the approval from appropriate leadership team as necessary on key milestones such as project budget

• Co-work with technical stakeholders to design the digitalization concept for product development

• Jointly explore and assess the digitalization technology and build up the proper architecture of digitalized solution

• Drive the alignment with key stakeholders across the strategic roadmaps and priorities of product digitalization and innovation

• Own and drive idea generation and delivery of product digitalization and innovation

• Co-work and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive initiatives to improve the productivity and cost-to-serve of product

• Develop the business case of each specific opportunity of product development to drive the progress and necessary endorsement or approval from different stakeholders

Critical competencies

• •Ability to drive product development across a team of diverse stakeholders to deliver world class capabilities, features and products Experienced in project management
• Demonstrates a combination of customers’ business acumen with effective technology knowledge, leveraging agile methods in approach and practices
• Technically robust in digitalization and data modelling (preferably Python).
