Finance Business Partner- External Manufacturing

12 months Fixed Term Contract

Location: Slough + 50% Hybrid Working

Salary: £58,000-£71,000 + Bonus + Benefits

As the External Manufacturing Finance Business Partner, you’ll be a key member of External Manufacturing team (EMT) and provides financial guidance and strategic direction to External Manufacturing Business partners. You will partner with External Manufacturing Leadership Team and their teams to achieve operational excellence and create value for Mars Inc. You will provide insights on operating results and key performance indicators, assess risks & opportunities, support the end-to-end finance manager in financial goals and drive actions to deliver those, co-pilot decision making, maintain strong financial controls and governance and robust reporting.

What are we looking for?

  • Hold a finance academic qualification or professional finance certification.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and knowledge of key systems like SAP and Power BI.
  • Robust financial acumen including period close, forecasting and reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management to build trust and inspire collaboration across functions.
  • Experience in FMCG/Retail with ideally experience in manufacturing or supply chain.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Leading the S&OP process to deliver key business performance metrics, focusing on cost lines such as NQC.
  • Ensuring financial stability through accurate period-end close, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Supporting the E2E Finance lead in setting and achieving financial goals through the 3-year VCP process, Annual Operating Plan, and periodic forecasts, with cross-functional collaboration.
  • Influencing stakeholders to achieve financial commitments and providing actionable insights on operational and financial performance.
  • Partnering with EMT and the Commercial team to drive value creation and financial valuation of projects.
  • Supporting ad-hoc requests and regional projects.
