Job purpose

The main purpose of this job is to maintain optimal stock covers at the right mix on all SKUs across all SP depots. The job holder will also contribute to the optimization of the depot network and support the sales team in all logistics aspects of the depots as well as supporting the QiD team in ensuring QID standards implementation at the SPs & vans.

(S)he will take care of all planning aspects for co-packing ensuring donor availability and FG availability when it is required. The jobholder will work closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning and Sales.

SP Replenishment

    • Schedule daily/weekly orders and deliveries to SP depots.

    • Obtain stocks at SPs and vans on daily basis and analyze sales-out

    • Build the SP orders to ensure pull replenishment and right mix, right quantity availability across all SKUs, and activity stock allocation according to activity forecast.

    • Maintain healthy stock covers at all SPs that ensure solid availability and avoid over-stock and its implications

    • Maximize delivery truck to SP utilization

    • Analyze each SP Px-3 forecast and assess sales out performance against it. Deliver feedback to demand planning and supply planning to improve the forecasting accuracy

    • Measure OTD and case-fill to SPs and identify reasons for cuts to include in market case-fill and FROT roll-up

    • Reduce refusals from SPs and manage stock age.

RTM Logistics Lead

    • Analyze the SP network in Egypt to assess capacities, locations and specifications of all SP depots

    • Recommend changes/ amendments to the SP depots network based on the detailed analysis

    • Lead and deliver all supply-chain workstreams related to RTM and SP depots

Co-pack Planning

    • Own overall co-packing activities

    • Ensure donor availability and follow up on donor requirements in market submission

    • Articulate co-pack production plan with FG volumes, donor volumes and timings

    • Reconcile BOM with actual donor consumption (backflush) and execute necessary adjustments on system

    • Collaborate with stock controller to ensure smooth co-packing operations

Context and Scope

The Egypt Market Planner will part of Egypt Supply Chain team and will work closely with 3PLs, sales team and supply team in order to deliver the right products with the right quality at the right time to the SP depots.

(S)he will be responsible for scheduling deliveries and measuring CFT, OTD, Refusals & AUD. (S)he will be the first level of CCL contact with TT sales team, and the SPOC on performance versus time gone in CMOS forums.

Job Specifications

Education & Professional Qualification

  • A planning professional with an Engineering or economics degree or Masters in a relevant field such as supply chain management, planning or business management

  • Certification in APICS, IBF or other supply chain specific programs preferred

Knowledge/Experience

  • 1-3 year(s) of Supply Chain experience, preferably in FMCG’s

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • SAP (ATLAS) expertise is preferred

  • Fluent English Language Skills (verbal and written)
