Data Analytics Manager- Global Internal Audit

Location: Paddington + 50% Hybrid Working

Salary: £65,000- £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our Data Analytics Manager- Global Internal Audit will support the growth and development of an effective data analytics function, including guidance/support for a distributed global Internal Audit team working to deliver internal audit and consulting services to our various Mars business units. You will assist the Global Internal Audit Data Analytics Senior Manager with setting and executing all aspects of the department’s data analytics strategy, from annual audit planning and execution to training and explorative analytics.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, finance, accounting/ similar field, or relevant experience.
  • Ideally possessing a CISA, CPA, or CIA certificate.
  • Direct experience in big data analytics and visualization of errors, anomalies, and patterns/trends.
  • Hands-on direct experience in using analytical tools (e.g., Python, SQL, R, ACL, SAS) required.
  • Experience interacting with IT, digital, and business leadership, including collaboration with business partners at similar size global organizations.
  • Demonstrated client service orientation and ability to provide consulting services to internal clients.
  • Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications, including active listening skills and skill in presenting findings and recommendations for improvement to managers at each location, as well as other senior managers.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Assist in executing annual risk assessment and developing the data analytics audit plan.
  • Support the completion of the data analytics audit plan, ensuring audit activities are completed on time and on budget.
  • Develop presentations for quarterly IALT meetings on the department’s data analytics strategy, processes, and approaches, while demonstrating strong audit knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other Internal Audit teams to deliver improvement projects, increasing the department’s data analytics and digital capabilities and contributing to the continuous improvement of the audit function.
