Category Leadership & Display Manager SSA – Mars Snacking Nairobi, Kenya

As a Category Leadership & Display Manager at Mars, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the Snacking Category by improving our in-store presence, coverage, and physical availability. Reporting to the Customer Growth Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, you will seek out display opportunities, deliver customer-focused solutions, and build strong partnerships with our customers to accelerate category growth.

What are we looking for?

• A Bachelor's Degree.
• 1-3 years of graduate experience; experience in the FMCG sector is an advantage but not essential.
• A collaborative and customer-focused individual who can effectively analyze data, identify insights, and translate them into successful customer projects.
• Someone with strong planning and alignment skills, who can manage complexity and ensure accountability in a dynamic environment.
• An eagerness to learn from peers, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

What would be your key responsibilities?

• Develop insight-led category solutions to improve shopper conversion and strengthen the physical availability of our products.
• Lead customer category projects, using data to identify growth opportunities and recommend assortment and planogram solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy creative display solutions across main aisles, checkouts, and interruption points to maximize sales.
• Partner with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers, retailers) to shape and execute customer concepts.
• Identify and scale display innovations and best practices across the Sub-Saharan Africa region and the Global Display team.
• Manage display materials, agency quality, and budgets to improve ROI and ensure timely execution.
