Job Description

Job Description

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It With Pride.

As our Category Development Specialist, you’ll be the data and insights engine within our Revenue Growth Team in the commercial side of the business. In a high performing team, you will analyze the market through different KPIs to create strong plans for the future. You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.

You will have an opportunity to work with great tasting brands like Marabou, TUC, OREO, Philadelphia.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Own and deliver category dashboards and performance tracking, ensuring targets are visible and on track across channels and customers
  • Translate data from multiple sources (e.g., ICA Self Serve, Nielsen) into actionable category, shopper, and consumer insights that drive commercial decisions
  • Create compelling, data-backed category stories and selling narratives for retailer engagement and Joint Business Plans (JBPs)
  • Track and report on distribution, availability, and assortment performance — supporting NPD launches with early performance reads and gap identification
  • Act as the key linkage between the Growth Team and Customer Business Teams, ensuring strategies align to customer needs
  • Support demand planning and the annual business planning cycle with scenario analysis, target-setting inputs, and baseline modelling

What you will bring

  • A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You bring a passion for turning data into action, and the following experience and knowledge:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into clear, commercially relevant recommendations
  • Experience in category management, shopper analytics, or commercial insights within FMCG/CPG
  • A future-focused mindset — curious about industry trends, digital solutions, and new analytical frameworks
  • Proven ability to create compelling presentations that turn data into actionable stories for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with the confidence to influence through the strength of your analysis
  • Business acumen and understanding of how category performance connects to commercial strategy

  • Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or other relevant field is required.
  • Job specific requirements:
Excellent analytical capabilities with experience in data interpretation and visualization
Ability to translate complex data into compelling category stories and commercial recommendations
Highly proficient communication and presentation skills

  • Experience in category management, shopper analytics, or commercial insights — with a track record of delivering actionable, data-driven recommendations — is required.
  • Experience of FMCG market is required.
  • Language: Full professional fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken) is required.
  • Knowledge of Nielsen data and ICA Self Serve is meriting.

We offer:
