As part of A.P. Moller - Maersk, APM Terminals has been lifting standards for developing and operating advanced ports and container terminals for over half a century (as an independent division since January 2001). As Studio Producer & Videographer, you'll oversee and produce live broadcasts and events in our in-house corporate studio, as well as create high-quality videos that demonstrate our industry-leading standards. You have experience managing live broadcasts, preferably using vMix. In addition, you'll work with colleagues from around the world to produce global content and help enhance the quality of local video productions. By crafting compelling visual stories, you'll play a key role in making APM Terminals resonate with our most important audiences and leave a lasting impression.
The Studio Producer & Videographer, reports into APM Terminals’ Head of Marketing, Brand and Content.
As Studio Producer & Videographer, you will be responsible for:
Creative and (technical) video production of APM Terminals’ global live events in our in-house studio, including internal and external webcasts and townhalls.
Overseeing all aspects of global video productions for APM Terminals, including – but not limited to - pre-production planning, filming, and post-production editing. Filming will sometimes happen on location, for example in one of our terminals, and sometimes in our in-house studio. Depending on the scale of the production, you will either work individually with a smaller internal team or collaborate with larger production crews for bigger productions.
Production of video content for distribution via a range of different channels, including – but not limited to – events, narrowcasting, social media, web.
Partnering with colleagues in communications, marketing and branding to develop high-quality briefs, storyboards and scripts for video productions.
Managing all video production project logistics, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Developing and managing relationships with external vendors and (production) agencies to support bigger productions.
Managing and optimising the video production equipment and software, including our high-tech in-house studio at our offices in The Hague.
Designing and implementing processes to improve and optimise the quality and use of video content globally, including building and maintaining a video repository.
Support and guide global, regional and terminal colleagues on their video productions and content.
What we are looking for
If you recognise yourself in the profile below, we look forward to receiving your CV:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in video production, preferably in a B2B environment, which a strong portfolio that reflects that
Conceptually strong: you have strong storytelling skills and the ability to give creative direction to video productions and visual content.
Brand-minded: you have experience working for bigger brands and what it takes to develop and bring branding guidelines to life for video.
Hands-on: being able to drive and manage video productions with smaller teams and in different environments, while having the flexibility to work together with stakeholders on different levels
Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro), the use of studio environments and video production software (vMix). Experience with drone operation is preferred, knowledge of animation and motion graphics is a plus.
Highly independent, organised and capable of delivering on time and within budget in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Working with – and managing the relationship with – different stakeholders: from our frontline teams to senior management and from colleagues in public affairs to colleagues with an operational background.
