PTP Team Leader

Job Description

Finance & Accounting, a core function of a business that requires talents to manage business accounting from its basic entry to analytical process up to sophisticated financial reporting. We require people with strong finance background to join this role

Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years of PTP experience in a Contract Logistics company

Expectation is to write/read/speak fluently – B1/B2

Working Hours

8 AM – 5 PM CST

Working Days

Monday – Friday

Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance

Key responsibilities

  • To manage transition of accounting activities from one location to another location – Assess and align the project timeline for each milestone, sit in with processing team and document operational procedure, evaluate and define changes to optimize as-is operational procedure, ensure the transition progress toward the project plan, coordinate and communication with relevant stakeholders to fix the problem.

  • To manage new platform implementation co-ordinating with project teams – Evaluate the process in existing platform to assess the requirement for new platform, provide localization requirement for new platform setup, work with process owner to document the to-be process and operational procedure in new platform.

  • For technical issues, investigates and raises technical incidents/Performs root cause for technical incidents.

  • Response for area accounting transactions pertaining to costs, revenue, financial items, financial housekeeping, settlements, claims and recovery, reconciliations as per SLA in scope.

  • Oversee the entire P2P process, per SLA to be agreed with MCL, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, procedures & tax regulations. Process improvements and decision making.

  • Provides support to team members, ensures training of staff and is a go to person for functional issues.

  • Acts as a super user ensuring a degree of governance and compliance.

  • Work with auditor and Tax Team and make sure request are managed in time with good quality

  • Build up good working relationship with key stakeholders and have deeply understanding for their business needs

  • Contribute and support projects and migration

  • Team resource management

Requirements for the position

  • At least 5 years finance process working experience, with at least 2 years team management experience

  • Change mindset to solve issue from root cause to benefit process optimization

  • Open and positive with good communication skills- should be able to independently communicate with stakeholders via emails, telephone, etc by English

  • Result and quality - oriented with high sense of urgency

  • Problem solving mindset – to solve errors from root cause

  • Good English spoken and written level

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Strong sense of responsibility and ownership

  • Prior experience of working on ERP system would be an added advantage

  • Good knowledge of MS office, viz, Word, Excel, etc

  • Familiar with MS Outlook & Internet

  • Good personal attributes – Matured, confident & a team player

  • LnS PTP experience would be a plus
