Job Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Platform Data Analyst to join the Asset Strategy Platforms team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will own analytical workstreams end-to-end — from scoping and data modelling through to communicating findings and driving stakeholder action.

You will work with large, complex datasets spanning customer orders, supplier transactions, asset utilisation, and operational data. You will contribute to KPI frameworks, experiment design, and AI/ML use case development — using AI tools where they genuinely accelerate work, not as a default.

This role is suited to someone who is comfortable operating in a complex, data-rich environment, and who can translate insights into tangible business outcomes.

What You Will Do

Analytics & Insight

  • Identify and quantify opportunities in platform data; translate findings into clear recommendations for product and business teams
  • Design, build, and maintain decision-oriented KPI frameworks accessible to both front-line teams and senior management
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on product adoption, user behaviour, performance trends, and business impact
  • Design and evaluate experiments using rigorous statistical methods
  • Support benefit estimation and validation for platform product initiatives

Data Engineering & Infrastructure

  • Write efficient SQL and Python to extract, transform, and model data
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and reusable datasets
  • Work within Azure/Databricks infrastructure to ensure data quality and performance
  • Treat analytical datasets as data products with ownership, SLAs, and documentation
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues

Stakeholder Engagement & Delivery

  • Collaborate with product owners, process owners, and engineering teams
  • Communicate findings through data storytelling and actionable insights
  • Manage your analytical backlog and prioritisation
  • Proactively flag bias, fairness risks, or unintended consequences

AI/ML & GenAI

  • Build feature engineering pipelines and evaluation frameworks
  • Use AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate workflows
  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers

Deterministic vs non-deterministic outputs
You are expected to understand when deterministic outputs are required (e.g. KPIs, reporting) versus when probabilistic outputs are acceptable, and design appropriate validation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop processes.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Min 5 years in business analytics or data analysis, ideally in complex, large-scale environments
  • Proven delivery of end-to-end analytical projects
  • Experience working within or alongside product/platform teams
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in analytical workflows is a strong advantage

Technical Skills

  • Strong SQL and Python (pandas, numpy)
  • Experience with Azure and Databricks
  • Power BI or equivalent dashboarding tools
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, modelling, and data quality practices
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and model evaluation
  • Practical use of AI tools with strong validation judgement

Working Here

This role is based in Copenhagen within the Asset Strategy Platforms team, working closely with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders.

You will operate in a high-impact, data-driven environment where analytics directly influences platform decisions and operational outcomes.
