Job Description
People Analytics Partner
Europe, North America & Latin America
About the role
At Maersk, we believe better people decisions start with better data.
We are looking for a People Analytics Partner to support our Regional organizations across Europe, North America and Latin America. As part of the People Data & Analytics team, you will partner with People Partners, business leaders and HR stakeholders to turn workforce data into insights, actions and business outcomes. You will help leaders understand workforce trends, solve people-related business challenges and make more informed decisions. Just as importantly, you will work with your colleagues to develop data solutions, and you will help build the capability of our stakeholders to use data effectively themselves, driving adoption of self-service analytics and fostering a culture of evidence-based decision making. The role emphasizes stakeholder partnership, translating insights into action, educating stakeholders on data products, product ownership, delivering data/insights, and supporting data quality improvement.
Success in this role requires curiosity, strong stakeholder management, collaboration and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, practical recommendations.
What you'll do
Partner with People Partners and business leaders to understand workforce challenges and identify opportunities for analytics to drive business value.
Deliver meaningful workforce insights through data analysis, storytelling and visualization.
Act as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders translate insights into decisions and actions.
Drive adoption of self-service reporting, dashboards and analytics products.
Design and facilitate training, workshops and capability-building activities that improve data literacy and analytical confidence.
Partner closely with Product, Data Management and Platform teams to improve People Data products and strengthen data quality.
Contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture across the People Data & Analytics team.
What we're looking for
Core requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.
Ability to communicate insights in a clear and compelling way.
Experience influencing outcomes through collaboration rather than authority.
Experience facilitating discussions, training sessions or workshops.
Strong teamwork mindset and ability to work effectively across functions, geographies and cultures.
Experience in People/Workforce Analytics, other Business Intelligence functions (finance, operations, commercial, supply chain, etc.), HR Consulting, HR Business Partnering or related fields.
Distinct advantages:
Experience supporting large, global organizations.
SME Knowledge of HR domains like workforce planning, recruitment, talent, rewards, engagement, organizational effectiveness & performance management, service delivery, etc.
Hands-on experience and deep familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Workday, Viva Glint, Fabric or similar analytics platforms.
Understanding of HR data models, reporting and data quality concepts.
What success looks like:
Trusted partner to regional People and business leaders.
Workforce insights that influence decisions and drive action.
Increased adoption of self-service analytics solutions.
Improved stakeholder capability and confidence in using People Data.
Strong partnerships across People Data & Analytics and the wider People Function.
Why join us?
You'll join a global team helping shape how workforce decisions are made across one of the world's leading integrated logistics companies. You'll work on meaningful business challenges, influence senior stakeholders and help build a more data-driven People Function—while enabling others to do the same.
