Our opportunity

We are looking for our new Learning and Development Partner to drive the overall capability building of our people in Ocean Operations throughout their employee journey - from onboarding to professional development – while ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This position requires close collaboration with the global L&D community, business leaders and People Solutions.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the L&D strategy and roadmap in line with the organization’s strategic objectives.

  • Ensure onboarding program is working across areas

  • Conduct assessments and analyses to define skill and knowledge gaps and recommend training and development to drive individual and organization-wide capability improvement

  • Design and develop programs and learning journey packages, in partnership with the global L&D community, internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to achieve defined objectives.

  • Implement various L&D methods (e.g. coaching, digital trainings)

  • Establish and maintain performance evaluation methods, utilizing metrics to validate knowledge transfer and return of investment

  • Foster a learning culture and generate engagement and adoption of L&D programs through strategic communication and effective stakeholder management

  • Collaborate closely with the global L&D community for the development and delivery of global programs.

  • Facilitate onboarding and trainings in the areas, as needed

  • Propose and track L&D budget

  • Create and maintain the local knowledge and learning content repository to promote on-demand learning in regional Ocean Operations teams

  • Coaching organization on Lean , kaizen, as part of capability plans etc.

Accountable for

  • Employee Journey - onboarding, on-the-job learning framework incl. coaching, upskilling and professional development

  • Design & ensure delivery of onboarding program in Ocean Operations including HSSE (S&R) elements.

  • Design & ensure usage of coaching/capability development framework for Ocean Operations roles

  • 5–10 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Change Management.

  • Experience designing learning journeys and development plans.

  • Process & System Knowledge

  • Result Orientation & Change Management

  • Proactiveness

  • Ownership

  • Ability to build Collaborative Relationship and influence leaders and work across global teams.

  • Comfortable operating across different organizational levels and driving adoption of development initiatives.

  • Ownership

  • Strong communication skills with high proficiency in English (mandatory)

  • Exposure to digital learning or AI is a plus
