Job Description

JD – Fleet IT Infrastructure engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve infrastructure incidents with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Troubleshoot Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, hardware, and networks.
• Work with vendors and SMEs for swift issue resolution and prevention.
• Maintain clear and accurate infrastructure documentation.
• Support risk assessment, incident escalation, and post-incident actions.
• Contribute to DevOps and SCRUM workflows.
• Automate tasks mainly with PowerShell.
• Handle vessel crew tickets and manage hardware lifecycle.
• Develop, test, and deploy infrastructure improvements.

Required Technical Skills

• Advanced PowerShell skills and scripting for automation.
• Broad IT infrastructure experience:
• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Windows 10/11
• Hyper-V, virtual networking, storage
• Azure Cloud (basic to intermediate)
• Dell server hardware (blades, VRTX)
• Some Linux exposure
• Azure HCI knowledge (desirable)
• Familiarity with AD, IIS, SQL, and anti-virus (e.g., Trend Micro).
• Strong troubleshooting across technology areas.
