GRC Senior Validation Advisor (SAP Controls & Assurance)

Role Purpose

The GRC Senior Validation Advisor is responsible for executing control assurance and validation activities across business processes and technology-enabled controls, with a particular focus on automated control testing and SAP control configurations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based control testing and validation activities.

• Assess manual, IT-dependent and automated controls.

• Perform walkthroughs, evidence review and documentation.

• Execute testing of automated controls within SAP and other enterprise systems.

• Review and validate system configurations supporting key controls.

• Support testing across P2P, O2C, R2R, Master Data, Inventory and Logistics processes.

• Assess workflow approvals, validation checks, tolerance limits and exception monitoring controls.

• Perform SAP configuration reviews.

• Leverage data analytics to identify control exceptions and trends.

• Coordinate with business stakeholders and technology teams.

• Support issue validation and remediation tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

• CA preferred; CISA/CIA/SAP certifications advantageous.

• 4-6 years of experience in Internal Audit, Risk Assurance, Controls Assurance, Compliance Testing, IT Audit or GRC roles.

• Hands-on experience in control testing and assurance activities.

• Experience testing automated controls and IT-dependent controls.

• Exposure to SAP environments and ERP-based control frameworks.

• Preferred exposure to SAP ECC/S4HANA, SoD controls, workflow controls, and analytics tools such as Power BI or SQL.
