Based in Panama City, Panama the role will primarily support our Regional Leadership Team potentially others in the management team. The position will support leaders in various administrative tasks including but not limited to travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, expenses tracking and other ad-hoc duties from time to time. The successful person will be working closely with other administrative teams and assistants in Panama and other offices globally as well.

You will be working and communicating across geographical and cultural borders that will enable you to build a strong professional network and be part of a highly respected team of specialists based across the Latin America region and globally.
Key responsibilities:
Effectively manage Functional Leaders calendar and daily schedule, considering the regional complexity in terms of time zones and countries / areas specificity.
Active participation in preparing content/key materials for board and leadership meetings, customer presentations, conferences, employee town halls etc.
Executive administrative duties include but not limited to: scheduling meetings, creating and managing spreadsheets and maintaining documents and files.
Acting as a team member for administrative and communication projects (e.g. organization of special events) and managing the administrative and communication of special tasks.
We are looking for:
Candidates with qualifications in finance, financial analyst, communication or marketing are welcomed for this position with the aim of building a career at Maersk.
Ideal candidate has the relevant qualifications for supporting leaders and has excellent coordination and communication skills
Service-oriented team player with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build and foster relationships
Ability to collaborate with multiple internal teams and senior stakeholders as well as handle information with discretion, tact and professionalism
Results oriented, highly organized with great attention to details, with ability to create processes that simplify tasks
Possess a high energy level and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Independent, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
High ethical standards
Proficient in English and Spanish
Proficient in MS Office (Powerpoint, Excel, MS Teams, etc)
Technology savvy
