Change Management Partner
Job Description
About the Role
This role sits within Fleet Management & Technology (FMT), part of Maersk Operations. FMT is responsible for managing Maersk’s largest assets — our global fleet of container vessels and the seafarers who operate them.
You will work closely with teams across vessel operations, crew management, and technical innovation, helping shape and support the container fleet of the future.
What We Offer
FMT spans five major locations across two continents and employs approximately 13,000 colleagues at sea and onshore. Maersk manages a fleet of more than 700 container vessels, including both owned and chartered ships.
You will join a team of talented professionals working across vessel operations, safety, compliance, HR, technical support, and innovation.
As part of a global organization, you will collaborate with both shore-based colleagues and seafarers around the world. Success in this role requires strong digital collaboration skills, the ability to work across geographically dispersed teams, and a culturally adaptable mindset.
You will become part of the Project, Process & Change Management team, working alongside specialists in project management, process optimization, implementation, development, and change management.
Given the technical nature of many initiatives, you will also collaborate closely with Product Owners and Tech Leads to support the successful delivery and adoption of new technologies and ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
As a Change Partner, you will support large-scale transformation initiatives across FMT, with a strong focus on the people side of change. Your role will be to develop and execute change management strategies that reduce resistance, minimize business disruption, and enable sustainable adoption.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading change management activities to ensure stakeholders feel informed, engaged, and supported throughout the transformation journey.
- Managing the full change lifecycle, including impact assessments, change planning, execution, reinforcement, and measurement of readiness and adoption.
- Supporting the identification and management of the overall change landscape and change load across FMT.
- Advising and coaching business leaders, project teams, and Product Owners on change management best practices.
- Partnering with senior leaders to drive successful transformation initiatives.
- Coordinating with Subject Matter Experts, Tech Leads, Process Partners, UX Designers, and other key stakeholders to ensure aligned and effective implementation.

The ideal candidate has a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a global organization.
You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership of change initiatives from planning through execution, and navigating complex, cross-functional environments.
You are motivated by continuous learning, enjoy solving challenges, and thrive in operational and fast-moving settings.
Additionally, you:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Can clearly communicate complex changes to a wide range of audiences.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Are adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
