About Delos Cloud:
Delos Cloud, a start-up founded by SAP, strives to deliver a sovereign cloud platform for the digital transformation of the German public sector. The platform is an essential component for the implementation of the German Administrative Cloud Strategy (DVS) in compliance with all relevant data protection, IT security, and secrecy requirements of the BSI. Delos Cloud is a trusted partner of the federal, state, and local IT service providers and complements their service portfolio. Therefore, you will find exciting and varied tasks in an innovative and meaningful environment. For more information, please visit: www.deloscloud.de
What you`ll do:
- Manage and continuously further develop the IT change management process (according to ITIL), from the intake, orchestration, and impact assessment of change requests from various channels through approval and implementation to post‑implementation review, with the goal of minimizing risk and downtime for business‑critical services
- Plan and coordinate the change calendar across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services, identify conflicts and dependencies, and orchestrate releases and maintenance windows in collaboration with project, operations, partner management, and sales teams
- Define, document, and optimize end‑to‑end IT service and support processes (e.g. incident, problem, service request, change), including roles, workflows, and KPIs, with a focus on standardization and automation
- Prepare and chair the Change Advisory Board (CAB) and other governance bodies, ensure transparent decision‑making for changes, and maintain complete and accurate documentation of risks, approvals, rollback plans, test plans, and outcomes
- Measure and report on process and change performance (e.g. change success rate, lead times, process adherence), derive improvement measures, and drive continuous process optimization initiatives together with relevant stakeholders
- Advise and support product owners, project managers, and technical teams in applying change and process standards, and promote a culture of structured change and continuous improvement within IT
- Act as a point of contact for IT change‑management‑related questions regarding compliance and audit topics
What you bring:
- Completed degree in (business) informatics, computer science, business administration or a comparable field, plus several years of professional experience in IT change management, IT service management, or IT process management in a corporate or cloud/managed services environment
- Very good knowledge of ITIL based change and service management processes and practical experience with common ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or comparable solutions), ideally proven by ITIL or similar certification
- Proven experience in modelling, analyzing, and optimizing IT processes (e.g. with BPMN or similar methods), including the use of KPIs and data to identify weaknesses and derive improvement measures
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a structured, solution-oriented way of working and the ability to balance process governance with pragmatic implementation in an agile/environment (ideally utilizing DevOps or similar methods)
- Excellent communication and moderation skills, confident in dealing with stakeholders across all levels, capable of leading CAB and workshop formats and managing conflicts and escalations
- Fluency in both German and English is required
What we offer:
- A flexible work environment that promotes a healthy balance between personal and professional life
- Excellent development opportunities
- Competitive salary and various employee discounts and vouchers
