PURPOSE / SUMMARY
Support the sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management of indirect goods and services required for business operations, including IT, software, consulting, office equipment, travel, maintenance, and contingent workforce resources procured through Purchase Orders. Apply procurement expertise and leverage AI-enabled solutions to deliver compliant, cost-effective outcomes, enhance supplier performance, and drive purchasing efficiency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Source indirect goods and services to support business operations.
• Conduct RFx processes, bidding events, and supplier evaluations.
• Support supplier selection, onboarding, and relationship management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and commercial agreements.
• Administer contracts, renewals, and compliance activities.
• Manage purchase order processing and receipt of goods/services.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve operational issues.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand and support business requirements.
• Identify cost savings, process improvements, and efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and governance.
• Manage assigned procurement processes and project activities.
• Provide guidance and informal coaching to less experienced colleagues.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI and automation opportunities across procurement and sourcing processes.
• Leverage Generative AI and Agentic AI to improve productivity, automate routine tasks, and enhance decision-making
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS - Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing operations, or category management.
• Knowledge of procurement practices, supplier management, and contract administration.
• Ability to work independently within defined guidelines and procedures.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and automation to improve productivity and support data-driven decision-making
Technical Skills
• Strategic sourcing and category management.
• Supplier selection and performance management.
• RFx and competitive bidding processes.
• Contract administration and compliance management.
• Commercial analysis and negotiation.
• Purchase order lifecycle and receiving processes.
• Procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, etc.).
• Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Generative AI & Agentic AI
• Power Automate / Power Apps / Power BI
• Stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration.
• Process improvement, purchasing efficiency, and project coordination.
• Experience in AI tools, automation platforms, or application development
