  • Maximize investment impact by focusing on what works, stopping what doesn’t, and redeploying capacity quickly.

Role Purpose

The AI Program Manager will co-design the AI Programme with the AI Technical Portfolio Lead and the Chief Data Officer, and own day-to-day orchestration of execution. • Step into high-risk or blocked areas to drive hands-on problem solving and acceleration.

Change & Adaptability

  • Proactively reprioritize scope and capacity as the landscape shifts.
  • Spin up/retire workstreams decisively; manage transitions to run/operate where relevant.
  • Embed learning loops: post-implementation reviews, playbooks, and reusable assets.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as single threaded owner for programme communication from exec to squad level.
  • Facilitate decision forums; create transparent, insight-rich updates tailored to the audience.
  • Align cross-functional subject matter experts across workstreams.

Risk, Compliance & Responsible AI

  • Identify and mitigate programme-level risks (technical, delivery, regulatory, adoption).

Required Expertise & Skills

Programme & Project Management Excellence

  • Track record running complex, multi-workstream tech programmes.
  • Mastery of PMO disciplines (governance, planning, RAID, benefits).
  • AI & Emerging Tech Awareness
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, and high interest in continuously learn about AI and what it takes to make a company thrive in an AI-first world.

Change Leadership & Adaptability

  • Thrives in ambiguity; re-frames plans quickly while keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Evidence of starting fast, pivoting with data-drive decisions, and sustaining momentum.

Influence & Communication

  • Executive-ready storytelling with crisp visuals and metrics; excellent facilitation.
  • Strong conflict resolution and stakeholder alignment skills.
  • Willing to dive into the weeds (e.g., clarifying scope, unblocking data access, sharpening acceptance criteria) while keeping the strategic view.
