As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading an embedded internal recruitment function on behalf of Instant impact. This may involve you managing a small team of Talent Acquisition Partners, you will work leader-leader with your Talent Director to manage, develop and coach team members effectively and to make the most of every opportunity to develop your leadership skills. As a Talent Acquisition Manager your role will have a heavy client facing focus, you will be developing recruitment strategies with your client, driving credibility by educating them on recruitment topics, and providing industry insights. You will also be building trusting relationships with your client by proposing creative sourcing techniques and implementing innovative recruitment process improvements to enable a smooth and cost-saving recruitment strategy. In this role, you are expected to collaborate, share knowledge, celebrate successes with both your account partnership and throughout the Instant Impact business, and drive the company values.
Key Responsibilities
- Building trusting relationships with stakeholders and driving the success of the partnership
- Leading various improvement projects such as recruitment processes, diversity initiatives, and talent pooling to effectively add value.
- Running client meetings, driving the agenda, contributing market insights, and expressing ideas and suggestions in a clear manner
- Managing team members effectively, while also helping them with any stucks or challenges they may face
- Manage client and operational SLAs, ensuring team KPIs and deliverables are being achieved
- Conduct day-to-day recruitment activities, which will include, attending stakeholder role briefing meetings, strategically recruiting through available sourcing channels, interviewing, managing the full candidate interview process, consulting and educating stakeholders, leading and mentoring junior team members
- Manage the advertising of your roles both through an automated tracking system and manage relationships with job boards/ other advertising platforms
- Create and execute sourcing strategies, use all available platforms and recruitment techniques to source and screen for niche roles
- Managing and updating recruitment spreadsheets for both team and client including role trackers, time-to-hire data, and other delivery metrics
- Proactively soliciting and acting on feedback as well as giving it liberally to others
- Managing agency's spending and conducting regular calls with agencies on the PSL
- Managing and leading team members, which will include but not limited to conducting 1-1s, career development plans, and mid and annual reviews including updating the employee growth portal on lattice
- Conducting team training, ensuring they are equipped with the skills they need to conduct a successful delivery project
- Conducting reporting for both Instant Impact and client on delivery on a monthly and quarterly basis, occasionally some weekly reports may be required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Extensive experience working in a recruitment/talent acquisition role in either agency, internal, or other RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing) environments
- Excellent leadership skills, having managed a recruitment team or function previously
- Naturally able to take a consultative approach when it comes to managing stakeholders and relationship building
- Exceptional at managing expectations and comfortable with pushing back when needed
- Verg good organisational skills and can manage multiple conflicting priorities.
- Able to use data to influence stakeholders and make decisions
- A natural ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members
- Competent in using Office 365, inclusive of excel at a proficient level
- Advanced candidate sourcing skills, inclusive of using LinkedIn recruiter
