The role

To help ensure we stay at the top of our game, we are now looking for a new Senior UI/UX Designer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You’ll be helping to drive growth and elevate the customer journey across our e-commerce platform. You'll lead initiatives that optimise conversion, retention, and usability across Huel.com, our account area, and internal tools that support the business behind the scenes.

This is a unique opportunity to own and influence the end-to-end user experience in a fast-paced DTC environment—working across product discovery, purchase flow, and post-purchase experience to ensure every touchpoint is customer-centred and conversion-optimised. Here's an insight into your day-to-day:

• Designing and optimising experiences across the e-commerce site, customer account area, and internal tools
• Partnering with Engineering, Marketing, Creative, and Content teams to launch high-impact digital features
• Collaborating with our Lead UX Designer to ensure our solutions are data-driven, user-first, and aligned with commercial goals
• Supporting and scaling our design system to ensure design consistency and development efficiency
• Running UX research studies to better understand customer pain points and motivations
• Contributing to the UX roadmap, prioritising enhancements that drive higher conversion, average order value, and lifetime value
• Designing across the full journey, from landing pages and product detail pages to checkout, post-purchase and retention flows

What we're looking for in you

This role will best suit someone with around 3-4 years of Experience in UI/UX design, ideally within an e-commerce, DTC or conversion-focused environment. You’ll have:

• A strong portfolio showcasing how your design work has driven measurable improvements in CVR, AOV, or retention
• Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing and a proven ability to translate insights into smart design solutions
• Comfortable working across the entire UX process, from discovery to design and iteration
• Experience collaborating with growth, performance marketing, or CRO teams is a bonus
• A strong communicator who can advocate for UX while balancing business goals and tech constraints

🕖 Hybrid working - We work together in the office on Mondays and Thursdays, with a third office day of your choice. The remaining two days can be worked remotely. Travel to HQ in Tring will be required twice a month.
