THE ROLEWe are looking for an Infrastructure Security Engineer to work on the overall security of our systems and keep them safe. You will help establish security best practices and enforce their implementation across all Infrastructure teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Evaluate, improve and maintain security tooling to identify risks, attacks, and service misuse
• Proactively contribute/assist to the development and broadly enforcement of security controls across the infrastructure
• Assist with reviewing existing tools, applications, and processes to help strengthen and optimize current capabilities, as well as identifying any gaps or technical solutions to further enhance the team's effectiveness

WHO YOU ARE

• You’re knowledgeable about securing cloud environments and hardening most commonly used Operating Systems
• You’re an expert on common infrastructure security vulnerabilities
• You’re an experienced user of scripting and/or programming language (e.g. Python, bash, shell script) and ease of learning new languages
• You’re able to evaluate, recommend and implement best-in-class commercial and open source infrastructure security tools
• You’re able to participate in design reviews with an eye for security vulnerabilities
• You’re able to articulate and prioritise security risks related to specific processes
• You’re willing to work collaboratively across the team and the company
• You’re driven to figure out how things work and how to break them
• You are able to make a good judgement when balancing security requirements vs. business needs
• You have Initiative, proactivity and autonomy
