Emerald Group Solutions provides support across the Group, working closely with colleagues in Emerald Publishing and Emerald Works to deliver efficient services and expert solutions across a number of different specialities including finance, people, workplace facilities, legal, customer operations and technology.
Flexible working approach
We perform at our best when we feel trusted and are able to choose an approach to working that suits us best which is why Emerald offers fully flexible hybrid working. We have no core hours so you really can work when suits you best. All we ask is that you be fully transparent with your availability and ensure business needs are met.
We have various offices across the UK which you can choose to work from or you can be fully remote. We also support part time working and compressed hours.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
I like the confidence and autonomy I have to deliver my work regardless of the hour I work. This makes it much easier for people who work with time zones and assist clients in several countries.
