TURATIOur new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub, and home to all of the NGG staff functions. Turati is where the behind the scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonized with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office
THE ROLEAlanui is looking for a Designer to join the Style Team. You will report to the Creative Director/internal Design Team and create men's and women's knitwear pieces for the RTW collection and support in all phases of the creative process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Research moodboards and yarns
  • Research new trends, inspirations
  • Design hand drawn and technical sketches and follow the collection from design, development to final product
  • Liaise with the product development office to ensure deadlines are respected
  • Support in fittings
  • Support in the implementation of embroidery and print placements
  • Support across the collection closure activities (lookbooks and b2b activities)

WHO YOU ARE

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role in the fashion luxury industry, preferably with a focus on knitwear
  • Degree in Fashion design, a Master's is a plus
  • Good knowledge and use of knitting machines
  • Good technical knowledge of knitwear and other apparel product categories
  • Excellent free hand drawing skills
  • Excellent use and knowledge of Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and keep to strict deadlines
  • Good level of English and Italian, both written and spoken
