Job Description

We're seeking a driven and enthusiastic home-based Sales Development Representative to spearhead our outreach efforts and connect with potential customers. If you're passionate about technology and building relationships, we want to hear from you!

We're evaluagent, a remote, UK-based tech scale-up with a global footprint, serving esteemed brands like Samsung, Ubisoft, First Central, and Vitality Health. Following a recent $20m Series A funding round, we're poised for exponential growth.

Overview:

Salary - Up to £35,000 per annum, based on your previous experience

Location - Home based in the UK

Type - Full-time, 40 hours, Permanent

Reports to - Head of Business Development

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you will be responsible for generating outbound qualified leads, following up on marketing qualified leads and initiating meaningful conversations with potential customers utilising our tech stack to engage new prospects.

You will play a pivotal role in introducing our platform to target markets, identifying opportunities, and setting the stage for successful sales engagements.

  • Research & Identification: Discover and target key accounts and decision-makers across various industries.
  • Lead Generation: Self-generate new business contacts and leads through cold calling, social media outreach, and networking.
  • Lead Conversion: Engage with Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) to secure product demos and discovery calls.
  • Prospecting Techniques: Utilise LinkedIn prospecting, automation tools, and Loom to reach potential customers.
  • CRM Management: Document and track lead interactions and activities using our CRM, HubSpot.
  • Multi-Channel Engagement: Connect with prospects via telephone, email, and social media to qualify their needs.
  • Sales Coordination: Provide critical information to the sales team to ensure successful follow-ups.
  • Feedback Loop: Analyse and report on lead quality to the Marketing team for continuous improvement.
  • Platform Expertise: Maintain a high-level understanding of our platform and stay current with industry trends.
  • About You:

    Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Essential experience: At least a year's previous experience in sales development, outbound prospecting and self-generation, with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets. At least a year's previous experience of selling within a SaaS business. Experience of the contact centre environment would be desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a persuasive and proactive approach to engaging prospects.
  • Self-Motivated: Results-oriented with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets. You’re adaptable, eager to take on new challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative: You work well with cross-functional teams, bringing a collaborative mindset to every project.
  • Organised: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple leads and tasks simultaneously, with great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Tenacious: Confidence, enthusiasm, and tenacity towards outbound prospecting and cold calling. You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with a positive attitude in a metrics-driven environment.
