Job Description

About dunnhumby

dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, helping the world's most ambitious retailers and brands put the customer at the heart of every decision. With nearly 3,000 experts across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, we partner with iconic businesses like Tesco, Coca-Cola, Meijer, Procter & Gamble and Metro to turn data into growth, innovation and measurable value for their customers.

Product

Our Product team owns the vision, strategy and roadmap for the dunnhumby platform — the data, science and software that powers retailers and brands around the world. We work at the intersection of customer data, AI, and commercial impact, building products that turn insight into measurable growth.

The Role

The Senior Product Analyst plays a key role in helping us build better products through data-driven decision making. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and Data Engineers, you'll transform complex product data into actionable insights that shape product strategy, improve user experiences and drive measurable business outcomes.

You'll champion product analytics across our product teams, enabling experimentation, establishing best practices and ensuring decisions are backed by meaningful data.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll combine analytical expertise, product knowledge and stakeholder collaboration to deliver insights that influence product direction and maximise customer value.

  • Own product analytics across a portfolio of products, defining key metrics and ensuring they are measured, reported and understood effectively
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and Product Designers to support product strategy, objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Identify opportunities to improve product performance through data analysis, experimentation and evidence-based recommendations
  • Work closely with Data Engineers and product squads to ensure the right data is captured, modelled and available for meaningful analysis
  • Deliver end-to-end analytics, from defining requirements and success metrics through to presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Build, maintain and continuously improve product performance dashboards that provide clear, actionable visibility into product health
  • Support product discovery, roadmap planning and experimentation by providing data-driven insights and commercial context
  • Leverage multiple data sources to identify trends, answer business questions and uncover new opportunities for product improvement
  • Continuously improve analytics practices, reporting tools, data visualisation and automation to enable faster, more effective decision making
  • Communicate insights clearly through compelling data visualisation and storytelling tailored to technical and non-technical audiences

What We're Looking For

You'll bring strong analytical capability, curiosity and a passion for using data to solve product challenges while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in product analytics, product management, product ownership or a similar analytics-focused role within a software or technology environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex data and translating findings into actionable business recommendations
  • Experience working with cross-functional product teams, including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers and Data Engineers
  • Knowledge of product metrics, experimentation, performance measurement and product analytics best practices
  • Experience building dashboards and communicating insights through effective data visualisation and storytelling
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision making through data
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, product performance measurement and commercial drivers
  • Experience on Heap,Fullstory or Amplitude
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
