Senior Marketing Manager, Regional Marketing
/10
Job Description
About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Regional Marketing for the UKI, you will collaborate across the business to develop and execute regional customer and promotional strategies. This high-impact role will be supported by a Marketing Manager and partner with cross-functional teams (Insights, Media, CRM, Commercial, Finance, Tech and Data Science). You will be responsible for strategic planning, establishing robust test-and-learn frameworks, and proactively uncovering growth opportunities through performance analysis and market trends.
What you'll be doing
Strategy Development: Partner with the Head of Regional Marketing to define and implement regional strategies. You will focus on deeply understanding customer needs and how local media, promotions, and value propositions strategically influence customer behaviour and drive ROI, while leading on trade-offs based on urgency and impact.
Execution: You will work with the Marketing Manager to execute the strategy and ensure technical, reporting, and targeting foundations are in place for best-in-class execution and relevant customer communication.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between central and local teams (including Insights, Media, CRM, Commercial, Finance, Tech, and Data Science).
Budget Management: Take ownership of multi-million pound budget lines for key initiatives, tracking spend closely and optimising plans to manage spend effectively.
Lead Test & Learn Agenda: Drive the experimentation roadmap with a focus on geographical expansion. You will work alongside Data Science to design measurement frameworks, continuously optimising performance and codifying promotional best practices.
Performance & Optimisation: Lead weekly reporting on in-flight performance and conduct thorough post-campaign analysis. You will pinpoint areas for improvement and identify new opportunities for experimentation.
Market & Competitor Trends: Stay abreast of competitor trends and market activity to strengthen our regional positioning and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in a Marketing, CRM, or Commercial role, with a proven track record in value-led or promotional campaigns.
Strategic & Operational: You enjoy solving complex problems and finding the right operational approach to deploy solutions. You are comfortable interpreting data to develop insight-led strategies and have experience working with Commercial and Data Science teams.
Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple cross-departmental stakeholders and communicate confidently at all levels. Experience presenting recommendations to senior leadership to gain buy-in.
Agility: A self-starter attitude, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation defined by constant change.
Delivery: A proven track record of "making things happen"—delivering results quickly and efficiently.
Tools: Highly proficient with analytical tools (such as Excel/Google Sheets, Looker).
