And to get where we’re going, we need a passionate and brilliant Digital Marketing & Performance Lead to join us. We want to take our digital marketing activity to the next level of effectiveness and innovation, you’ll be leading us on this journey!

You’ll be working across a range of Net Zero solutions including Heat Pumps, Hive Thermostats, Solar and EV Charging, it’s an exciting time to be joining the team!

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be a commercially astute marketer, innovative digital expert and experienced in delivering best in class performance activity, maximising comms activity across multiple channels.

The Role:

  • Lead Digital marketing activity for Net Zero, with a core focus on digital performance and sales growth
  • Create the digital marketing and go to market performance strategy for Net Zero
  • Own and deliver distinctive and compelling performance marketing comms to achieve sales, CPL & ROMI targets
  • Driving innovation for Net Zero digital marketing and defining the test & learn strategy for implementation with our media agency
  • Maximise performance channels to support commercial ambitions and deliver brilliant customer outcomes
  • Lead the media agency relationship for digital in Net Zero, pushing for best-in-class delivery and team optimisation
  • Management of a Digital Performance Marketing Manager
  • Management of the performance marketing budget & investment with a clear ROI approach
  • Taking a lead role defining SEO requirements for Net Zero, planning & briefing the SEO Manager deliver against targets
  • A lead role in marketing budget management, planning and reporting
  • Provide strategic data insight and analysis to understand performance, leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities to drive growth
  • Support the development of acquisition campaigns for all Net Zero products that drive core trading performance, thinking, and acting like a retailer

As an experienced Senior Marketing Lead you’ll have a track record of:

  • Broad and extensive experience in digital marketing and performance marketing
  • Delivering innovation across digital platforms
  • Extensive experience across PPC, SEO, SEM, Social, Affiliates, campaign management and delivering against commercial outcomes
  • Experience of business case development for incremental investment opportunities where ROI can be proven
  • Experience of managing 3rd party stakeholders & influencing share of activity
  • Line management experience
  • Marketing delivery within an extremely commercial environment
  • SEO briefing and leveraging into performance plans
  • Agency management and leadership
  • Direct management of multi-million-pound marketing budgets
  • Outcome and impact driven with a relentless focus on commercial and customer outcomes over outputs
  • Driving and supporting a test and learn culture, with a focus on consistently optimising the approach and performance
  • Understanding the complexities of operating in a regulated environment
  • Getting things done – “can do” attitude is a must
  • Strong attention to detail and enthusiasm for quality and consistency
