And to get where we’re going, we need a passionate and brilliant Net Zero Events & Partnerships Marketing Manager to join us.

You’ll be an expert in all things event based and working with strategic partners. In this role you’ll bring to life the world of Net Zero through engaging experiential delivery and excellent event management that connects with our audience and guides them through their Net Zero journey.

You’ll be working across a range of Net Zero solutions including Heat Pumps, Hive Thermostats, Solar and EV Charging, it’s an exciting time to be joining the team! Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you’ll be empowered to lead marketing activity that is best in class and plays a key role in customer growth.

Location: With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them – meaning location doesn’t need to be a barrier. This role can be mostly based at home with meetings required at our Centrica sites, namely Windsor. You will be required to travel to events as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

• Managing all event activity for the Net Zero division. Events responsibility will range from headline brand activations at nationwide consumer shows, to focused business events and local community activations.
• Leading our partnership marketing activity with key strategic partners – typically event based but also includes comms delivery.
• Manage the events and regional marketing roadmap and 12-month plan.
• Budget management for events and regional marketing.
• Lead the relationship with our event agencies.
• Obsess over the customer journey to ensure the best possible experience for customers.

Who are we looking for?

• Experience of managing a range of events / experiential activations.
• Experience of managing event agencies and logistics.
• Agency management experience.
• Budget management experience.
• Holding stakeholders and agency partners to account, ensuring all marketing communications drive customer growth and champion customer obsession.
