An opportunity to play your part:

As an ITOM Analyst, you will enhance operational stability and efficiency within the Enterprise Platforms and Services function by leveraging AI, machine learning, and automation. AIOps is an integral part of ensuring the success of the newly established Real-Time Command Centre.

AIOps empowers the Real-Time Command Centre to swiftly identify and address potential issues before they impact the business, ensuring a seamless and reliable IT environment. Utilising our AIOps strategic platform, ServiceNow, you will advance our vision toward predictive failure detection and automated incident resolution through advanced analytics and insights. By analysing customer usage patterns and platform behaviours, you will drive reductions in operational costs, improve platform stability and agility, and boost customer retention and growth.

The day to day:

• ServiceNow Monitoring provides a robust framework for monitoring and diagnostics. The role includes maintaining this framework, considering dependencies involved in delivering cloud services to end-users. Components like event correlation, root cause analysis, and service impact analysis are crucial for effective monitoring

• The role ensures seamless integration between ServiceNow and other monitoring tools or platforms. Integrations may involve connecting with Azure Monitor, third-party applications, or custom monitoring solutions

• Continuously monitor for compliance with policies and regulations

• Enable fine-grained business impact analysis to prioritise and respond to risks

• Collaborate with IT teams, security, and operations to address incidents promptly

• Maintain a proactive approach to system health and performance

About You:

• An understanding of ServiceNow ITOM and its various components.

• Experience with monitoring tools e.g. AppDynamics, DataDog, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch.

• Ideally experience in using JSON and JavaScript.

• Strong communication and influencing skills

• Prioritisation and strategic planning abilities

• Positive and collaborative work approach
