CDC are an established and innovative consultancy scale-up providing acoustic and fire engineering services to a varied pool of interesting
construction projects across all sectors within the built environment. Our talented team deliver collaboratively on all of our projects and their diverse thinking, expertise and knowledge are key to our success.

Due to continued growth we have an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to become a valued member of our team. Working in collaboration with our acoustic and fire teams in our Colchester office you will play the key role in the development and implementation of the company’s marketing strategy and you will be the first contact in our office for all marketing enquiries.

As a talented writer and communicator you will create accessible B2B content across our digital marketing platforms, including social media, website and email campaigns. You will strengthen & build our social audience as well as track & report on our online engagement and have knowledge of the latest developments and trends in social media.

We are looking for someone with a keen creative eye and high attention to accuracy and detail. Someone who is looking to develop professionally and scale within the organisation. You will ideally have two years or more experience within a marketing, communications, or PR role.

If you have any qualifications within marketing this is also desirable to your application. You will have good communication skills, and will be able to use Microsoft office with ease. If you have used adobe suite, and have any prior knowledge of the construction industry or built environment this would be an advantage to your application.

Your Role:

  • ·Excellent collaborative skills and experience of working with remote teams and colleagues.
  • Initiate research, development, and implementation of new marketing programs.
  • Develop, manage and produce materials to create a cohesive image and message for print and all online communications channels.
  • Experience in Adobe suite, Indesign or other graphic design software, photography or videography would be ideal but not essential.
  • Advertise our company and services on various channels
  • Manage and produce marketing copy for our website
  • Design and publish quarterly newsletters to our valued clients.
  • Devise marketing campaigns on relevant platforms.
  • Join social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics.
  • Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness
  • Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product team
  • To create compelling content across all channels, such as our website, social media, emails, and blogs.
  • To brief and manage external suppliers, such as promotional and media companies
  • To support any media enquiries.
  • To support with ensuring brand awareness is consistent across the business, and to support with any ad hoc marketing administration / duties that may come up.
  • An interest in the architecture / engineering/ construction industry would be ideal.
