Job Description

Using state-of-the-art technology, the IT team at Camunda manages and runs reliable workplace infrastructure and helps build our global network, with a proactive approach to security and innovation. We advise different Camunda teams on technology and how it can help them perform better, then oversee new systems design, development, and implementation.

Now Camunda is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - this is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire.

What you'll be doing:

Help to achieve a top of the line IT support by acting as an escalation point for requests/incidents and help investigate, analyze and resolve them.

• Administration of our tools stack, in particular for apps like Okta, Jira/Confluence, Office365 systems, GSuite, Slack, Zoom, MDMs (Intune/Kandji)
• Help support our ISO 27001 / SOC 2 standards, keep an up-to-date and secure IT infrastructure.
• Deliver integration and automation projects for departments and employees, in particular for our Finance systems Netsuite and Adaptive
• Support procurement of new tools and tool renewals by assessing needs, functionality, existing tool landscape, usage etc; help to onboard new apps, manage their APIs and support & enable Camundi to get maximum out of them
• Documentation and maintenance of infrastructure and IT operation components

What you bring:

• Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
• High level of experience with IT support and investigating and resolving complex requests and incidents
• Advanced operating system and software expertise (e.g. Linux, MacOS/iOS, and MS Windows, Android), including command line operations and system configurations.
• Ability to automate tasks to improve efficiency using configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible/Terraform).
• Extensive knowledge of apps like Okta, Jira/Confluence, Office365 systems, GSuite, Slack, Zoom, MDMs (Intune/Kandji)
• Experience delivering integration and automation projects, in particular with finance systems (e.g. Netsuite, Adaptive).
• Understanding or exposure to ISO 27001 / SOC 2 standards
• Experience assessing and collaborating on IT tool procurement
• Service oriented mindset, eagerness to provide top level support.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• An ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects, applying working in iterations in day to day activities (many small steps, rather than few big steps) and driving towards results
• Passion for great software products and willingness to use/try our product yourself.
• Fluent English level mandatory

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

• United States: $103,700.00 to $155,600.00
  
• Germany: €69,000.00 to €103,500.00
• United Kingdom: £67,200.00 to £100,800.00
• Singapore: S$128,800.00 to S$193,200.00
