What you'll be doing:

• Review and identify feature ideas valuable to customers with the Product Manager
• Explore and prototype the feature ideas
• Rapidly build, deliver, improve and own robust, quality product features
• Most importantly, deliver value to customers
• Help grow the team and share your knowledge with the wider Camunda team

What You'll Bring Along:

• Experience: Developing complex and performant machine learning, with a deep understanding of scaling solution and experience in Prompt Engineering in combination with Retrieval-Augmented Generation
• Ownership Mindset: You thrive in taking ownership of the codebase, models, data and how you deploy and operate software and machine learning models. You are comfortable with the “you build it, you run it” mindset
• Algorithm Knowledge: Knowledge of a wide range of commonly used machine learning algorithms, their use cases, pros and cons, and how to train, test, optimize, and validate the result statistically accurate and robust
• Data Skills: Skills in sourcing and manipulating data for training datasets with a range of tools

Nice-to-haves:

• As a rough guide, 3yrs experience as a Machine Learning Engineer and 1yr experience with Prompt Engineering
• BPMN
• Spark
• Technical proficiency:
• GCP, AWS, Azure
• Scala, Python, SQL, Java
• ElasticSearch
• Monitoring and observability of ML pipeline deployments
• Experience with GenAI, RAG & fine tuning
• Experience with common machine learning concepts (like forecasting and analysis)

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:

• United States: $105,600.00 to $158,400.00
  
• Germany: €70,300.00 to €105,400.00
• United Kingdom: £68,500.00 to £102,700.00
• Singapore: S$131,200.00 to S$196,800.00
