The Senior Manager, Product Marketing role shapes and executes product marketing strategy for priority propositions. It translates market and customer insight into differentiated positioning and leads cross-functional go-to-market plans that drive revenue, margin and adoption. By influencing senior stakeholders and aligning teams without formal authority, it ensures launches land effectively, informs the product roadmap and delivers measurable business outcomes.
You will be responsible for producing product marketing and hero stories that take our products and translate them into solutions and capability that customers can aspire towards and transform the perceptions of BT. From our workplace solutions (connectivity, slicing and more) through to workforce (mobile, ioT, collaboration and voice) through to Value added services and security sovereignty, we have a right portfolio and strong stories to tell.

What you’ll be doing
- Creating hero stories and purple thread across our portfolio to create compelling and inspirational stories, and getting these into the hands of our customers through effective marketing
- Owning the product marketing strategy for BT Business priority propositions, defining ICP/segmentation, value positioning, messaging and any naming
- Work with props to ensure sellers and partners can be successful by delivering relevant marketing campaigns, case studies, briefings, playbooks etc that improve conversion and win‑rate.
- Accountable for driving campaigns and leads, tracking adoption and retention by activating campaigns and customer success journeys and tracking activation, usage and expansion KPIs.
- Work with props to understand market and competitive intelligence to inform customer narrative linking customer pain points to product solutions
- Create and maintain compliance for claims and differentiation.
- Understand and support commercial performance
- Accountable for aligning and influencing senior stakeholders to resolve trade‑offs and ensure execution reflects BT’s strategic and commercial priorities
- Safeguard governance and budgets by ensuring brand, legal, regulatory and security compliance while managing GTM programme spend and business cases.
The skills and experience you'll have under your belt
- Proven track record in product marketing within B2B technology or telecoms, delivering successful launches and measurable growth outcomes.
- Demonstrated success in B2B product marketing, creating tools and content that improve conversion, win-rate and average selling price.
- Experience leading complex product narrative, managing multiple stakeholders and resolving trade-offs under tight deadlines.
- Ability to define segmentation, positioning and messaging strategies that differentiate BT Business propositions.
- Skilled at influencing senior stakeholders and supporting go-to-market plans across Product, Commercial and Props, Sales/ Channels, Finance, Legal and Brand/Comms.
- Strong capability to interpret market trends, competitive intelligence and performance data to optimise propositions and campaigns.
- Exceptional written and verbal skills to craft compelling narratives, enablement content and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Background in market and competitive analysis, translating insights into actionable strategies that influence product roadmaps and investment decisions.
