About us

Redgate’s solutions help organizations reliably solve the complex challenges of database management across the DevOps lifecycle on any database, anywhere. We make life easier for IT leaders, development and operations teams, increasing efficiency, reducing errors and safeguarding business-critical data.

We’re a values-led company that cares about its people and their experience, with a strong focus on empathy and wellbeing, cohesion and inclusivity, and creating an environment that enables people to belong, thrive and grow.

Approach to diversity & inclusion

At Redgate, we do our best work in teams, and we believe that our teams are strengthened by including people with different viewpoints, experiences and backgrounds. We know from experience that diverse teams are better at identifying and solving problems, and that diversity is essential to building a healthy, creative culture. We aim to offer a working environment where Redgaters feel a sense of belonging: confident to contribute, enabled to do their best work, and able to thrive.

Our diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) commitments:

Recruitment & retention: we’re committed to evolving our Redgate community by hiring and retaining diverse, talented people who will strengthen our business as we grow.

Authenticity & belonging: we’re committed to building on our values, improving sense of belonging for everyone through inclusive language, behaviours and actions. We want everyone to feel that they can be their authentic self at Redgate.

Growth: we’re committed to ensuring Redgate is a place where individuals can truly thrive, can grow as people as well as in their careers, and are supported in their development and progression.

To further support DEIB at Redgate, we have a global, cross-functional inclusion forum (Belong at Redgate), and a regular calendar of DEIB events and celebrations throughout the year, focusing on education, awareness and practical allyship in the workplace.

Flexible working at Redgate

Redgate offers flexible-hybrid working, an approach that combines the best of both remote and office-based working and aims to balance the flexibility our people seek with the need to sustain our collaborative culture and high-performing business.

Flexible-hybrid working means that Redgaters can work from their preferred location, whether that’s at home or in the office, the majority of the time. It also means making use of the most appropriate space for the type of work that needs to be done. That could be coming together face to face as a team for planning and collaborative problem-solving, or working remotely on a piece of deep thinking or complex writing.

We know that one size doesn’t fit all when it comes to flexible working, and our different teams and functions have different expectations around how often they work together in person, based on their specific needs and the types of work they do.

Flexible-hybrid working is underpinned by our company values, particularly we’re reasonable, we’re transparent, and we do our best work in teams.

Redgaters can generally work the hours that suit them best depending on role, and it’s also possible to request a formal flexible working agreement, such as part-time working.
