Why this job matters

The Financial Reporting and Controls Manager leads the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and drives robust internal control practices. The role supports risk governance, assurance, and compliance across finance and IT processes, aligned with regulatory frameworks and business transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing

1. Leads the preparation and delivery of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with internal and external stakeholder expectations.
2. Evaluates and strengthens financial reporting controls by embedding risk governance into transformation programmes and operational processes.
3. Conducts control reviews and risk assessments across finance and IT systems, aligned with frameworks such as ICOFR, SOX, and COSO.
4. Develops and maintains internal guidance to support consistent application of financial control principles across the organisation.
5. Identifies and assesses emerging risks, regulatory changes, and control gaps, recommending sustainable remediation strategies.
6. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate finance and IT controls, ensuring end-to-end assurance in a changing business environment.
7. Provides insight into business performance through analysis of financial data, supporting decision-making and continuous improvement.
8. Leads stakeholder engagement across global teams, influencing senior leaders and aligning diverse perspectives to strengthen the control environment.
9. Supports the automation and optimisation of reporting and control processes, enhancing efficiency and data integrity.Coaches and supports team members, sharing expertise in financial reporting risk management, root cause analysis, and regulatory compliance
