As the Mobile Deal Pricing Manager, you will be pivotal in helping our sales teams to win complex Mobile deals in a highly competitive market. You will work with sales to understand customer requirements then use market and internal insight, scenario modelling and commercial levers in order to create the optimum solution for our customer while also being commercially viable for BT. As part of this you will drive insights into the customer base using rich insights from complex data sets in terms of ARPU; dilution on resigns; data, voice, text and roaming; and inactive base to design market leading pricing to customers which both provide market winning pricing whilst managing the risk profile and maintaining an acceptable profit level. In this role you will continually maintain a view of market price levels and feed this insight into the sales team, as well as continually monitoring commercial opportunities to migrate customers from legacy to next generation mobility solutions. You will widely be recognised as the market leading mobility commercial specialist within CPS.

What you’ll be doing

  • Commercial Pricing Support for complex and strategic Mobile customer requests
  • Defining and leading on insight driven Mobile pricing strategies
  • Use insight and analysis to improve our Mobile opportunity win rate
  • Close engagement with Product & Propositions teams to influence Mobile roadmaps to ensure commercial upside
  • Commercial stress testing of new Mobile products and propositions
  • Ensuring the team provides consistent Mobile pricing support through tools/training etc

What we expect to see on your CV

  • Experience in a commercial or busnienss management role related to Mobile products, with experience of pricing mobile deals >3,000 subscribers
  • Proven experience in commercial leadership (product, proposition, commercial management, financial management) suitable for a business that has turnover of £2-300m
  • Demonstrable experience of collaborating with and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Mobile products and preferablly Channel economic environmental drivers for the UK Market
  • Broad understanding of competitor landscape and UK Market (Carrier and Re-seller Market) and a basic understanding of Vertical Markets, Private Sector and Public Sector Market
