The Senior Sales Manager, Mobility reports to the Specialist Sales Director. In this role, you’ll define one of our central value propositions, mobility.

BT is a market leader in the UK market through our EE brand. Additionally, we have strong commercial relationships with the largest handset manufacturing companies in the world who you’ll partner with to deliver effective solutions through our sales verticals.

We’re looking for a strong leader to drive the mobile sales specialist and presales teams to deliver new customers and value-added sales to our existing customers. The team will need to be directed and structured in a way that ensures we hit our volume and margin numbers across connections, devices, and value-added services. Strategies include creating consultancy-led sales capability to enable the business to create, develop, and secure new vital opportunities.

You’ll be a member of the specialist leadership team acting as a sponsor and ambassador for BT and you’ll collaborate with key individuals and teams across the business including propositions, product, commercial and partner teams.

What you’ll be doing

• Determines sales strategy for mobility solutions across all our vertical sales teams.
• Leads and acts as a centre of excellence for all elements of mobility services across BT Business UK.
• Works closely with the sales leadership of each vertical to determine vertical-specific uses cases for mobility.
• Participates in opportunity and account planning sessions.
• Accountable for sales performance in terms of customer annual total revenue, profitability, bid success rate, customer satisfaction/feedback, customer acquisition and account development.
• Partners with sales enablement to define and drive best practices in the unit, identifying skill gaps and future skills.

What we'd like to see from you

• Specialist sales experience in Mobility.
• Sales management experience of managing people managers and/or managing large teams of 20+ people.
• Experience working with strategic partners and the ability to work with them on vertical specific solutions.
• Ability to act based on analysis of trends, including changing customer demand or opportunities to enhance sales performance.
• A proven track record of delivering business results through others and improving sales performance.
