Function: Brand & Marketing

Location: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol

Salary: Competitve with great benefits

Why this job matters

The Customer Experience Centre (CEC) is one of BT’s most strategic platforms for showcasing our technology, shaping customer perception, and supporting sales outcomes. This role is critical in helping us bring the CEC to life for internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.

This is a hybrid role blending three key areas:

1. Strategic event support

You will help plan and deliver high-impact moments, large showcase events, partner days, and multi-customer experiences that raise awareness of the CEC across BT and position it as a powerful selling asset.

2. Project management

The CEC regularly evolves with new demos, narrative updates, technology refreshes, and transformation projects. You’ll help coordinate and manage these workstreams to keep the space current, compelling, and operationally excellent.

3. Operational & administrative support

To keep the CEC running smoothly, you will support planning calls for customer visits, track budgets, order merchandise, manage logistics, and help implement continuous improvements in the space.

This role is ideal for someone who can switch between creative event work, structured project delivery, and practical operational tasks — and understands that all three are vital to the CEC’s success.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the delivery of strategic, highimpact CEC events for internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
  • Work with the CEC Manager to develop creative event concepts that drive awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the wider BT Events & Hospitality team and external agencies to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Support large showcase events, partner days, and multicustomer visits from planning through to execution.
  • Ensure hospitality and event governance and compliance are met.
  • Create and manage event merchandise in partnership with brand teams.
  • Coordinate CEC upgrade projects, demo refreshes, and transformation activity.
  • Support project planning, timelines, and stakeholder engagement for businesscritical workstreams.
  • Track progress, risks, dependencies and help ensure deliverables land on time and within budget.
  • Help manage improvements to the CEC environment, content, and customer flow.
  • Join planning calls with sales teams to capture requirements for customer visits.
  • Assist with budget tracking, raising POs, and ordering merchandise or supplies.
  • Support operational processes that keep the CEC running efficiently.
  • Maintain high-quality organisation and documentation across projects, events, and daily operations.

Skills required for the job

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between events, project work, and operational coordination.
  • Strong collaboration skills — able to work with marketing, sales, product, agencies and senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Experience measuring event or project effectiveness and demonstrating ROI.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environments, shifting priorities, and ambiguity.

Experience you would be expected to have

MANDATORY

  • Experience delivering events and hospitality (any scale; transferable to project work).

DESIREABLE

  • Experience in delivering marketing campaigns

  • Project management experience or experience coordinating business-critical workstreams.

  • Strong commercial acumen or an understanding of sales-led environments.
