Accountabilities:

• Digital Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a digital marketing strategy that drives awareness, engagement, and growth across international markets.
• Marketing Automation: Own the direction of the marketing automation platform, building smart, personalised journeys that support lead nurturing and conversion. Ensure seamless integration with CRM and analytics for full-funnel visibility.
• Online Presence: Build and optimise BT International’s website and landing pages, focusing on strong UX, SEO, and mobile-first design to drive engagement, conversion, and brand impact.
• Lead Generation and Conversion: Implement tracking and optimisation frameworks to improve MQL quality and funnel efficiency. Collaborate with campaign teams to refine conversion paths and targeting.
• Execution and Delivery: Manage outsourced teams and agencies to deliver digital campaigns on time, maintaining high quality and alignment with business objectives.
• Performance Measurement and Improvement: Establish clear KPIs, reporting, and test-and-learn practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Stay updated on digital trends and tools to advance digital maturity.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with content, brand, campaign, and sales teams to ensure digital marketing is fully integrated and customer-centric.
• Data Strategy and Insights: Manage data within digital platforms to support commercial goals through propensity modelling and predictive analytics. Collaborate
with Data and AI teams to build and execute a data strategy that drives personalised, optimised campaigns.

Skills Required:

• Strategic Leadership: Experience leading digital marketing transformation with clear strategic thinking andcommercial acumen. Visualises success and drives ownership and pace.
• Marketing Automation & CRM Expertise: Deep knowledge of CRM, and marketing automation technologies. Proven ability in delivering significant improvements in customer journey management.
• Digital Marketing Strategy & Business Acumen: Understands digital marketing drivers, business KPIs, financials, and uses data storytelling to make complex ideas simple and actionable.
• Project & Change Management: Experienced in managing transformation programmes, governance, and processes to maintain quality, momentum, and marketing rigour.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works effectively across teams to optimise marketing performance and deliver strategic priorities.
• Customer Obsession: Focused on customer needs and behaviours to create relevant, personalised digital experiences from start to finish.
• Innovative Thinking: Curious and bold, embraces diverse perspectives to develop new ideas and drive impactful results.
• Technical & Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of B2B marketing, marketing technology architecture, and advanced campaign-building skills (e.g. Marketo, Eloqua etc).
• AI & Emerging Technologies: Leverages AI and new tech to enhance targeting, personalisation, and marketing effectiveness.
• Quality assurance & governance: Experience reviewing and ensuring content meets approval and compliance requirements
• Adaptability and problem-solving: Comfortable responding to changing priorities and finding practical solutions
• AI and content tooling awareness: Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation and optimisation approaches to improve efficiency and scalability
• Continuous improvement mindset: Proactive in improving content processes, templates, and ways of working •

Experience Required:

• Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Leadership: Experience managing and influencing multiple stakeholders across regions and departments, driving alignment and collaboration.
• Foresight and Innovation in Marketing: Proven ability to adopt new digital tools, and implement forward-thinking strategies that keep the organisation ahead of the curve.
• Leading International Marketing Campaigns: Proven track record designing and executing digital marketing strategies that successfully engage diverse business audiences across multiple international markets, adapting messaging and tactics to local nuances

About the role

The Content & Campaign Specialist executes a range of workstreams in delivering BT Group's content and campaign strategy enabling increased brand awareness and strengthening perceptions with clients and target audiences, deepening engagement and loyalty.

What you’ll be doing

1. Executes a range of workstreams in delivering BT Group's content and campaign strategy, and achievement of BT Group's commercial and marketing objectives.
2. Implements content programs that deliver measurable value to BT Group's digital profile and search engine optimisation (SEO) as well as web traffic.
3. Delivers outcomes from activities that contribute to BT Group's brand positioning for external communications as part of the content strategy and plan, developing messaging and content asset strategies for campaign marketing.
4. Analyses campaign data to help campaign teams make strategic, data-driven recommendations aimed at improving results and increasing client retention.
5. Uses multi-channel automation and customer relationship tools in email strategy and execution, enabling engaging content strategy and campaign execution by partnering closely with marketing teams.
6. Supports collaborations with SMEs within the group or external thought leaders, to ensure content delivers against market needs, company positioning, and above the line campaigns.
7. Executes analytics activities across BT Group developing visible and measurable conversion funnels, identifying patterns that demonstrate content and campaign outcomes and adjusting from campaigns with poor performing return on investment (ROI).
8. Audits campaigns driving efforts to continuously improve the campaign management customer experience enhancing usability, latency, and discovery.
9. Drives impact with a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the Content and Campaign Management team and other related teams.
10. Mentors other content and campaign management professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
11. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in content and campaign management.
