Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to form part of our regional marketing function. The role reports to the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager.
You will be responsible for digital marketing channels, tools and operations, including the region’s effective use of the company website and social media, for the digital activation of marketing campaigns and activities, and for the digital optimisation of core content. You will bring your digital marketing experience and passion to help shape and drive digital marketing excellence across the regional function, whilst collaborating closely with digital and related specialists within the Group Marketing team and across other regions.

Development of digital activation tactics for marketing campaigns and activities, including delivery of digital activation activities.

Supporting campaign delivery by championing best practice use of our marketing automation platform across email, sms, landing pages and personalised journeys.

Championing the use of campaign and audience data, performance/impact metrics to shape, change and optimise campaigns, content and marketing activities .

Leading the regions use of the company website, overseeing all web related activities, including content (in collaboration with the regional content team), updates, and use of website insights/performance data.

Leading the regions use of social media, spanning corporate channels, advocacy, paid, and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, as well as social listening tools and performance metrics to help optimise use and impact.

Working closely with the content team and others across the function to ensure regular rhythms of quality content onto core digital channels, predominantly the website and social media, to include our normal corporate drumbeat of activity as well as campaign content.

Use all available tools, channels and approaches to drive ongoing optimisation and re-use of core content, bring fresh ideas and recommendations to the content team.

Work closely with the Group marketing team, particularly the engagement, website and social media teams, to influence and implement best practice approaches and to support any Group-led initiatives into the region.

Use digital tools to support the regional marketing function by undertaking audience, competitor and topic-related research to inform campaigns, helping to define audience segmentation and personas, and use of client and contact data.
Candidate specification
Essential
-
First and foremost be an experienced marketing professional with robust experience in digital marketing in a B2B environment.

Demonstrable experience in the technical aspects and practical use of marketing automation platforms (Optimizely advantageous)

Experience in working heavily with company websites and social media channels, as well as the tools that support their use.

Love data and insights and the ability to interpret and use data to shape and optimise marketing and campaign activities.

Commercial marketing mindset and track record in developing growth focused activity and/or campaigns that meet business goals.

Strong attention to detail, fully able to produce accurate outputs.

Deliver ‘business as usual’ tasks efficiently and to expected deadlines.

Proactively manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.

Marketing, communication or digital marketing related degree, or other relevant qualifications from an appropriate body.

Some experience in people management with a clear passion for enabling people to be themselves and operate at their best.

Experience within a marketing team in a global B2B professional services, consulting, or STEM/technical organisation and/or experience working in a medium to large sized marketing function or agency.
