Why this job matters

The Paralegal provides paralegal services in supporting the Group's commercial law and specialist Legal team.

What you’ll be doing

1. Undertakes the drafting and / or legal review of materials related to entities in the region including formation documents, board and shareholder meeting documentation, and other compliance documentation.
2. Supports with Board / personnel changes, business license renewals / registrations, and powers of attorney, taking into account business continuity, personnel and tax considerations.
3. Coordinates with members of the regional and global Finance teams to ensure entity compliance with local financial statement requirements, including the creation and maintenance of annual compliance calendars.
4. Supports maintenance of the legal team's paper and electronic filing systems, with full responsibility for managing the archiving process, including legal entity records and minute books.
5. Responds to queries from the business in a proactive, helpful, timely and professional manner, including the provision of powers of attorney and various corporate governance requests.
6. Supports the completion of complex transactions involving a large number of parties.
7. Supports liaising with external counsel / Group secretaries.
8. Supports in the implementation of ways to improve working processes within the Legal function.
