About the role
The Group Treasury Accounting Lead Analyst undertakes Treasury accounting and reporting activities for Group Finance/Business Unit. Provides analysis and research by having clear insights and recommendations to key stakeholders from a group treasury perspective, in accordance with best practice, controls, governance and ensuring effective risk mitigation.
What you’ll be doing
• Support the Group Treasury financial reporting processt (FX, interest, derivatives, hedging, loans and borrowings, cash & cash equivalents and investments)
• Assist in the preparation of the Group Annual Report (including disclosures)
• Create and submit journals
• Produce management reporting documents
• Operate controls effectively
• Liaise with Internal and External Auditors and other Group Finance teams
• Assist with testing during system upgrades
• Assist with transformation and process improvement projects
• Provide support to various Group Finance functions when required
Essential Skills/Experience
• You have 3-5 years financial accounting/reporting experience
• Advantage to have 1-2 years Treasury Accounting experience (including preparation of disclosures to the annual report)
• Excellent excel skills
• Risk based mindset and appreciation for controls
• Good at meeting deadlines
• Good stakeholder management
• Experience with Treasury products
• Advantage to have an accounting qualification
• Advantage to have previous knowledge with Treasury Management System or SAP
• Ability to quickly become proficient in systems
• Good stakeholder management
