About this Role

We are seeking a Real Estate Lease Accounting Analyst to support the accurate and timely execution of lease accounting activities in line with IFRS 16 requirements. The role focuses on end-to-end lease contract management, contract creation and modification, monthly valuation processing, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, compliance activities, and stakeholder collaboration. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong analytical capabilities, SAP experience, and a good understanding of lease accounting processes.

What you’ll do

• Manage real estate accounting operations in compliance with IFRS 16 requirements and internal controls.
• Execute end-to-end lease contract management activities, including contract creation, modification, maintenance, and validation.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly valuation postings for all eligible lease contracts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and support financial analysis requirements.
• Deliver internal and external financial reporting and compliance-related activities within agreed timelines.
• Monitor operational processes and controls to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to established procedures.
• Analyse accounting data, identify issues, investigate root causes, and provide effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to support reporting, process improvements, and operational delivery.
• Communicate accounting updates and process changes clearly and professionally.
• Undertake additional finance-related responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Who you are

Good knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting principles.Experience in SAP, including hands-on exposure to financial and accounting processes.Understanding of SAP RE-FX module is desirable.Strong financial analysis, reconciliation, and data analysis skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities with attention to detail.Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power Platform tools.Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.Typically 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, lease accounting, or related functions.
