Location: This role is located in Liverpool, and requires you to work from the office three days per week.

Why this job matters

This role involves providing ongoing customer support and identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities. You will manage relationships with about 80 customers from a desk-based environment, with a revenue target of several million pounds. Customer satisfaction is a key focus, whether working individually with clients or as part of a team.

What you’ll be doing

• Meet revenue targets, either independently or as part of a virtual sales team, for both private and public sector customers.

• Key duties include outbound sales prospecting, regularly calling customers, and promoting BT products and services.

• You will collaborate with field sales and specialist teams to drive opportunities for core BT products, while accurately forecasting business KPIs.

• The role also involves managing churn risk, identifying new customer opportunities, and driving business growth through a multi-channel approach.

•You will close your own contracts and work with specialists, such as the Field Account Management and Contract Management teams, to meet customer needs.

• As the main desk-based contact, you will develop long-term relationships with customers and partners.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers

• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach

• Experience in managing sales pipelines and closing deals

• Knowledge of BT products and services, or the ability to quickly learn

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns

• Team collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills

• Ability to identify opportunities for business expansion and growth

• Forecasting and reporting on sales performance
