Location: London, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester or Belfast
Why this job matters
This is a pivotal role at the intersection of Commercial and Digital, powering our transformation agenda by delivering fast, accurate, and reliable data across the full range of products we sell and manage. You’ll partner with senior leaders and technical experts across Digital, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure high-quality data is always available to drive confident decision-making. Acting as both a connector and a challenger, you’ll anticipate future business needs, shape data solutions, and hold partners to account to deliver timely, trusted data products that keep the organisation ahead.
What you’ll be doing
• Lead high-impact data and process transformation programmes that enhance the accuracy, consistency, and usability of trading data and reporting, ensuring full alignment to our North Star KPIs.
• Own and continuously evolve end-to-end trading data flows, embedding strong governance, clear accountability (RACI), and full auditability across systems, processes, and teams.
• Champion data integrity and control, setting high standards and holding stakeholders accountable for the quality, timeliness, and reliability of data inputs, outputs, and processes.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading, Finance, and Digital teams to align reporting, unlock performance improvements, and embed a truly data-driven culture.
• Turn complex data into clear, actionable insight, identifying key risks, commercial opportunities, and practical interventions that drive performance.
• Drive a continuous improvement mindset, simplifying processes, eliminating manual workarounds, and scaling efficiency across trading data operations.
• Support robust trading governance and forecasting processes, ensuring decisions are consistently grounded in accurate, trusted data and aligned methodologies.
The skills you’ll need
• Advanced data analysis & commercial storytelling — able to translate complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that drive decisive commercial action and performance improvement.
• Data architecture & process design expertise — strong understanding of end-to-end reporting flows, governance, and RACI structures, ensuring scalable, controlled, and well-designed data ecosystems.
• Technical capability & data tooling — proficient in tools such as Qlik, SQL, and Power Apps (or strong ability to quickly adopt new platforms), enabling the delivery of scalable, automated data solutions.
• Cross-functional leadership & delivery — proven ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder data and process transformation projects, driving meaningful and sustained change.
• Commercial influence & stakeholder management — strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge, influence, and align senior stakeholders while maintaining a relentless focus on accuracy, control, and governance.
