Job Description

Why this job matters:

Business Management is key to our customer who is one of the top accounts in Global and the Financial Services area. You will manage key aspects of this customer contracts, including obligation and contractual risk management. You will be the customer’s point of contact for all business-related topics in the region. You will ensure that Global and our subcontractors deliver the service in accordance with the agreed commitments. During this role, you will support the growth of the contract by working with the Account team, Service and Technical leads. You will be responsible for documenting and monitoring the relevant commitments.

Your responsibilities:

  • Customer facing for all contractual and commercial related matters
  • Supplier facing for all contractual and commercial related matters
  • Support the growth of the contract
  • Ensure the resolution of key contractual issues
  • Management the contract P&L for your region
  • Responsible for the commercial terms of the contract and ensuring compliance with those terms.
  • Responsible for risk & obligation management of the contract
  • Accountable for subcontractor risk & obligation management
  • Ensuring compliance to all BT governance on contracts
  • Accountable for ensuring contracts are effectively utilising the GS Contract Delivery Services to manage low-level contractual activities for them

Skills:

  • Proven contractual and commercial acumen (minimum 3 yrs of proven track record)
  • Stakeholder Management: build strong cross-functional relationships
  • Communications skills: Ability to communicate effectively at operational levels, encouraging correct process compliance and tool usage, Presents business plans, forecasts and risks to senior internal GS stakeholders with clarity
  • Coaching and Mentoring Skills: Provide informal ongoing mentoring and coaching to virtual team members
  • An affinity for problem solving
  • Ability to work under pressure to coordinate the team to deliver timely and consistent outputs
  • Ability to makes logical judgments about where leadership is needed in the team
  • Willingness to question and do the right thing where required e.g. resolve contractual challenges and disputes.
  • Willingness to meet customers face 2 face on a regular basis

This opportunity is eligible for an annual bonus and a competitive base salary.

NYC salary range $115k-$135k dependant on experience and location.
