Why this job matters
As the Contract Manager you will manage the contractual risk, obligations & P&L for a single contract and or multiple service towers with a large contract within the MNC Vertical. You will be the point of contact for all contractual topics within your parameter. You will own the relationship with senior customer stakeholders and be responsible for maintaining and building those relationships to benefit both BT and the customer, driving growth on the existing contract through effective management of change control with your area of responsibility. Ultimately, you will view your areas of responsibility as your own business and be responsible for the end-to-end performance of those areas.
What you’ll be doing
- P&L ownership on dedicated mid-sized complex contracts or pillars within a very complex contract
- Accountable for Risk & obligation management for parameter of the contract, ensuring the resolution of key high risk contractual issues within your parameter.
- Customer facing for all contractual related matters, where you will be accountable for organic growth on contracts through change control. Identifying new sales opportunities for the account and hand these to account management to pursue as required.
- Contract drafting of any required new Contract Change Controls, ensuring before contract signature that proposed contractual obligations are achievable.
- Accurate and timely billing in line with contractual SLA’S, ensuring compliance to all BT governance on contracts.
- Third Party Supplier management and adherence to SLAs as well as resource management and effective tracking of requirements across wider matrixed team.

- Significant experience in managing medium-sized complex and non-standard contracts and accounts or equivalent.
- A self-starter who will make decisions based on logic.
- Demonstrated knowledge of how to lead and support several teams with a diverse range of functions.
- Possess expert resource and demand management experience and skills, including best-in-class practices.
- P&L management experience.
