Why this job matters


• The role holder is responsible and accountable for the financial performance, service delivery, and development of a small subset of a managed outsourced/IT Contract, or a subset of a small to medium-sized contract. The contract manager operates in support of the Contract Manager or Senior Contract Manager.
• For Vertical specific accounts, manages small sized contracts up to £5m per annum (depending on contract complexity)
• For regional-based multi-vertical accounts, provides onshore contract management support that cannot be offshored due to contract obligations, customer-facing requirements, or local knowledge required

What you will be doing – your accountabilities


• Accountable for delivering the financial and performance targets alongside obligations of the contracts they manage, including:

  • managing contractual risks
  • monitoring P&L
  • managing change control
  • escalating to the Contract Manager or Account Manager issues and risks as needed
    • Accountable for having specific ownership of tasks within a contract, e.g., inventory
